Thomas Reese, S.J. vs. Pope Benedict XVI

In 2005, Thomas Reese resigned from his post as editor-in-chief of America, a U.S. Catholic magazine, due to years of pressure from the Vatican. Apparently, then-Cardinal Ratzinger didn’t like Reese’s approval of awesome essays on the ordination of women priests, or challenges to priestly celibacy and the use of condoms. I guess essays presented in America shouldn’t present new ways of thinking.
(Reese is left wondering why Benedict gets so much leg room.)
Anyway, Benedict has kinda screwed up the whole abuse/cover-up thing. So now Reese has to clean up the mess in the U.S. and tell everyone to CTFD.

Apparently, the Society of Jesus and the U.S. Federal Reserve, which sounds like the coolest/oddest combination of co-conspirators, orchestrated the whole shipwreck of the Titanic.
Rumor has it, Fed Chairman Ben Bernanke has a telephone that is directly connected to Jesuit headquarters. Just say the word, Ben.
